Warm Weather, Cold Beer, Red Sox

We are having unseasonably awesome weather! Today was a great day for a baseball game; I’m hoping it was the first of many. Temperatures reached 78 degrees fahrenheit today in Cambridge! On days like this, I want to head to Kenmore Square enjoy the revelry of Red Sox pride, sit outside at Remy’s or Cask n Flagon.

Opening day is just under a month away, April 13th, 2012, will kick-off the first of the eighty-two home games the Red Sox will play this year.  After the 2004 World Series championship, Red Sox tickets were hard to come by- the demand exceeded Fenway Park’s 37,000 seats. The 2007 World Series continued to make it difficult to find Sox seats. In the past few years as seats have been made on top of the Green Monster, The Budweiser Deck, and The Coca-Cola Party Deck, and other areas throughout the park to increase patron capacity.  Seats to the Sox are now more readily available than recent years. Unfortunately, it’s harder to count on this beautiful weather continuing through April 13th!  I’ll be waiting to purchase tickets for May 2012 games… and maybe buying some spontaneous ‘day of’ tickets in April!

Play Ball! Go Red Sox! World Champions 2012– I sure hope so!

Peanuts and Crack jacks, please!

P.s. Did I mention the Hotel Veritas is 3.0 miles from Fenway Park? A taxi or the T are easy transportation solutions!
